RDA 101

Come to a brown bag lunch session and hear from Tom Delsey, the RDA Editor, what RDA (Resource Description and Access) is, how it will differ from AACR, and what cataloguers and managers will need to know to implement the new standard. Tom will discuss the context in which RDA is being developed, its relationship not only to AACR but to MARC 21 and other metadata standards as well, and the kinds of databases that it is being designed to operate within.
